Vineyard Notes
Situated near the northeastern edge of Oak Farm Vineyards and in the Mokelumne river AVA, this vineyards proximity is close to not only the Delta, but the Mukulumne river. This helps to provide breezy days followed by cool nights. A long cool growing season helps to provide intensity and complexity to the wine. This wine is made 100% from our 1.5 acres of Estate Chardonnay. This block is planted with small culstered Dijon clone 70 and 96, which provides winemaker Sierra Zeiter with quality fruit to craft this unique Chardonnay.

Winemaker Notes
The 2019 Estate Chardonnay was hand-harvested early in the morning and quickly whole cluster pressed to a temerpature controlled stainless steel tank. The next day the juice was racked to a new tank and inocculated with yeast. The wine was fermented in tank before being transfered to neutal oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation was taken place to preserve the freshness and livelihood of the wine. This wine aged in neutral barrels for 10 months before being bottled.
